Hydration, activity and Apple Health

How hydration, movement and optional Apple Health data add useful context to your Zovrah experience.

Overview

Hydration and activity are supporting layers inside Zovrah.

They are not separate core pillars in the same way as Sleep, Stress and Nutrition, but they can still help explain changes in your Readiness, energy, mood and daily routine.

When combined with your check-ins, logs and reflections, hydration and activity data can give Zovrah a fuller picture of what may be affecting how you feel.

Hydration tracking

Hydration tracking helps you record how much water or fluid you are drinking across the day.

This can provide useful context around energy, focus, nutrition habits, headaches, training, recovery and how ready you feel.

You do not need to track hydration perfectly. A consistent daily estimate can still help Zovrah understand whether hydration may be playing a role in your wider wellbeing patterns.

Activity tracking

Activity tracking helps Zovrah understand how movement fits into your day.

This may include steps, workouts, general movement or other activity-related information where available. Activity can influence stress, sleep, energy, appetite and Readiness, so it can be useful context alongside your daily check-ins.

The goal is not to push every member towards the same activity level. It is to help you understand how your own movement patterns affect how you feel.

Connecting Apple Health

Apple Health is optional, but it can add more depth to your Zovrah experience.

If you choose to connect it, Zovrah may use supported data such as activity, movement, sleep, heart rate, HRV or other available metrics depending on your permissions and device setup.

Connected data helps support the bigger picture, but it does not replace your daily reflections.

Managing Apple Health permissions

You control Apple Health permissions through your iOS settings.

You can choose which data types Zovrah is allowed to access and change those permissions at any time. If you remove access, certain connected-data features may become limited or unavailable.

Zovrah only receives Apple Health data where permission has been granted.

If Apple Health data is missing

If Apple Health data does not appear in Zovrah, first check that the correct permissions are enabled in your iOS Health settings.

You may also need to check that your device or wearable is recording the relevant data correctly and that the data exists inside Apple Health.

If the issue continues, submit a support ticket through zovrah.com/help with your device details, iOS version, app version and the type of data that is missing.
